Shawn
Winchester graduated from Northern Arizona University (NAU)
in 1991 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications.
During his education at NAU, Shawn excelled in graphic design
and illustration and thoroughly studied the fine arts.
He worked
at Colorado State University for three years where his computer
graphics became an integral part in communicating complex
scientific concepts.
Shawn worked
for Learning-Edge, Inc., a multimedia-based training company,
in Chandler, Arizona for six and a half years. His work in
creating custom interfaces, content graphics and animation
contributed to several award-winning training programs. While
at Learning-Edge, Shawn was responsible for the look and
feel of all graphics that were created for the multimedia
programs. He also helped create a new corporate identity
for the company including a new logo, business package, and
marketing materials.
His work
has appeared in scientific publications, slide presentations,
video programs, industrial journals, kiosks, multimedia training
programs on CD-ROM, and on the Web. He has independently
designed logos for the Colorado State University sports program
and Motorola's Recreation Sales Division.
Our
Philosophy
Our thoughts,
on the creation of art for any purpose, go far beyond the
bounds of making beautiful images. Whether it is designing
graphics for a web site or creating an illustration, the
most important consideration is the message. It's important
to define what the message is first and then work toward
the best way to express it appropriately.
Our strongest
asset is our ability to visualize the concept and how every
piece of that concept fits together to communicate a specific
message. We always focus on effectively communicating the
idea. |
